I loved how this was one of my first art pieces in highschool that won me a legit award. (This was a group of 8 or so people who had their artwork recognized in a representation of philanthropy) Our awards were our artwork being given to the 8 nicest and most philanthropic people and companies that year. So sadly, i took a lame picture thinking this would only get me extra credit in art class and certainly not an award...luckily i was wrong :)
Next is a wedding card i made for some neighbors of mine. I'm a girl and i like girly things so i made it in the spirt of sparkly and soft delicate things. I used skeleton leves for the dress' bottom half and little sequin flowers my grandma had given me.
The bodice was made up of vintage beads placed together with a little trim of faux lace.
I really went over the top when my religion teacher had given us an art project to do. we had to make a poster of icons or symbols that represented the types of prayer found in the New Testament part of the Bible. My classmates and my teacher, were so astounded that ti had put so much effort into one little art project, but i had been art deprived that weekend so i just went for it and came out with something pretty amazing. I covered a flat cardboard surface with phonebook pages and watercolored all over it. My teacher loved it so much, i just let him keep it. This picture was actually taken during detention ( yes, he was also the detention guy) when i had realized i hadn't taken a photo of it for my portfolio. Problem solved!
This is a fun little phone called the HTC Touch, given to me by a dude named James (aka Mr. Hacker or Sketch). He made me pay a pretty low price for this after i had gotten in a horrible fight with my Sprint phone at the time, but it was sooooo worth it! This little baby was awesome, all touch screen with a pretty nice looking back too-basically a canvas just waiting to be painted on. So one day i took my nail polish pens to its back and went crazy on it while watching the movie Black Sheep. Within an hour and a half of the movie i had created a cellular masterpiece!
